Privacy Notice

Change Order Recovery Audit is designed to review a selected project folder locally on your Windows computer. We do not operate a project-document upload service.

Project content

The extension reads supported files only inside the folder you select. Project filenames, paths, document text, findings, and snippets are not sent to M2 AI, Stripe, or Vercel as part of licensing or billing.

Payment information

Stripe, Inc. processes payments for us. At checkout, Stripe collects and stores the billing details you enter, which normally include a contact or company name, an email address, a billing address, and payment card details. M2 AI can see this billing information in its Stripe account. M2 AI never receives or stores your full card number.

Activation data

When the extension checks access, it sends only the protocol data needed to verify it: application mode, the purpose of the check, a request ID, an activation ID, the installation's public key, a signed timestamp and nonce, and the signature — or an optional recovery key instead. The server returns an allowed state, an entitlement state, the paid-through date, any grace-period date, and the time of the check.

The activation ID and the installation's public key are stored as metadata on your Stripe subscription so that access can be checked later. M2 AI does not run a separate customer database for this product.

Local state

The extension stores its activation keys, trial status, a recovery-key fingerprint when used, and recent entitlement proof under your Windows local application-data directory. It does not store your recovery key in plaintext or any project content there.

Website and service metadata

Vercel hosts this site and the activation endpoints, and processes ordinary request data such as IP address, time, and browser type to deliver and protect the service. Our own pages set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising pixels, or browser storage. Stripe Checkout and the Stripe customer portal are Stripe's own pages: they set their own cookies and are covered by Stripe's privacy policy. M2 AI, Stripe, and Vercel operate in the United States, and information is processed there.

Support email

If you email support, we keep your message and email address so we can answer it and keep a record of the issue. Please do not send project documents, recovery keys, or card details by email.

How long we keep information

Stripe keeps billing and transaction records for as long as its own rules and tax law require. Activation metadata stays on the subscription for as long as that subscription exists. Support email is kept while it is useful for support and records. Anything stored on your computer stays there until you remove it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy, or to have it deleted. Email richard@m2ai.tech and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows; we may need to keep records the law requires us to keep. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for automated profiling. To clear local data, remove the extension's folder under your Windows local application-data directory.

Children

This is a business product. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security reports

Report a suspected vulnerability privately to richard@m2ai.tech. Do not include project documents, recovery keys, private keys, or Stripe credentials in a report.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The effective date above shows the current version, and a material change will be posted here before it takes effect.
